Art elements

Texture: a quality of a surface, often corresponding to its tactile character, what may be sensed by touch.



     
Form: created by forming of two or more shapes of as three-dimensional shapes(cubes, pyramids, sphere, cylinder, etc.).

 
Space: an area that is provided for a particular purpose.

Shape: pertains to the use of areas in two dimensional space that can be defined by edges, setting one flat specific space apart from the another.

Colour: pertains to the use of hue artwork and design.

Value: or tone, refers to the use of light and dark, shade and highlights in an artwork.
 
Line: defined as a mark that spans a distance between two points (or the path of a moving point), taking any form along the way.
