Social media is used for many things. Interacting with other people, checking the news and posting videos. For me, I don't use social media like Facebook often. I only use youtube to watch videos on it. However, there are times where I do use Facebook to chat with my friends.

Identity protection

Your identity is what makes you who you are, but when it comes to the internet, it can be a huge problem if not checked. Hackers will try to take you internet identity to pretend to be you. To protect your identity, don't make a password based on you birthday and don't use symbols such as $,#,%, etc.

Internet Safety

When it comes to safety on the internet, you have to be very careful when on different sites. Most sites on the internet will give your computer a virus that will mess up the database. It'll insert copies into programs, data files or the hard drive's boot sector.
